Job summary

Justrite Safety Group, a leader in industrial safety, seeks a Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to source materials, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reductions. You will work within the Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery and optimal pricing for operations.

With 3–4 years of purchasing experience and strong analytical and negotiation skills, you’ll help optimize supplier performance, maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP/MRP, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or related experience.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers on pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement of materials, components, products, and/or services.
• Issue and maintain purchase orders ensuring pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and terms are accurate.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, MOQs, and freight terms with suppliers.
• Monitor PPV, identify cost increases and savings opportunities, and analyze variances.
• Develop and execute cost-reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to meet production needs.
