Job summary

Interior-Specialists, Inc is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in San Diego to organize, purchase, and track materials ensuring projects meet schedules. You will collaborate with Design, Operations, and Field partners to manage material availability and coordinate with vendors to secure timely deliveries.

Candidates should have strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus experience with SAP/ERP systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Experience with purchasing, materials coordination or supply chain.
• Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials and coordinate timely delivery prior to installation.
• Coordinate with vendors to determine product availability, pricing, and terms of sale.
• Analyze product and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Participate in the development of specifications for products or substitute materials.
• Coordinate homebuyer material approvals with Design when applicable.
• Ensure samples are available for designers and customers when applicable.
• Run daily purchasing and material reports; manage documentation and tracking.
