Job summary

You will collaborate with Design, Operations, and Field teams to ensure materials arrive on time and meet project requirements, while solving problems and communicating clearly with customers and peers. The role emphasizes vendor coordination, ERP system usage, and continual process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ year of purchasing, materials, or supply chain experience recommended.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Order materials and supplies efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors for availability, pricing, and terms.
• Analyze material availability and delivery systems for present and future needs.
• Support specification development for products or substitutes.
• Coordinate homebuyer material approvals with Design.
• Ensure samples are available for designers and customers.
• Organize material returns with suppliers.
• Utilize ERP for orders, tracking, and troubleshooting.
• Run daily purchasing and material reports.
• Complete daily activities accurately with minimal supervision.
• Handle high-volume locations and complex purchasing.
