Job summary

Responsibilities include creating and tracking orders, following up on shipments, maintaining PO records, and coordinating with accounting on discrepancies while supporting continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required.
• 1–3 years materials experience, or 2 years college with 5–7 years manufacturing experience, or 9–11 years manufacturing experience.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Creates manual orders and/or reviews MRP generated orders and confirms supplier acknowledgement.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely shipment and avoid downtime.
• Maintain records of all purchase orders and related documents for processes.
• Coordinate disposition of rejected parts to prevent production stoppages.
• Assist Accounting and Warehouse in resolving unpaid invoices due to pricing or receiving discrepancies.
• Notify Purchasing Supervisor/Manager of potential parts issues.
• Maintain accuracy of databases and spreadsheets.
• Attend production and material review meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
