Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a material handler in Newberry, SC to perform material handling duties for assembly operations, moving approved supplies to required areas. This onsite role requires standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and basic computer use.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with a $2.50 shift premium for second shift. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance from day 1, 401(k) with match, three weeks of vacation (prorated) and additional perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year related experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading received materials from carriers and checking against packing slip.
• Inputting received parts into SAP.
• Prepare kits and pick sheets; deliver kits and materials to assembly lines.
• Inspect parts for defects and report to Logistics Lead or Coordinator.
• Participate in cyclical and annual inventories.
