Job summary

Solina Group in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support the Procurement/Operations function with timely replenishment orders for raw materials and packaging. You will ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards while maintaining cost controls and supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities include using the MRP system to order materials, placing and tracking POs, and collaborating with Procurement, Transportation and Supply Planning teams to maintain OTIF

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2 years purchasing, administrative, or supply chain experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Use MRP system to determine and accurately order raw materials, packaging and stock items.
• Place, confirm, and track purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on time and in full deliveries, OTIF.
• Ensure Purchase Orders and supplier Confirmations are accurate for item, price, quantity, delivery date and location.
• Work with Procurement, Transportation, and Supply Planning teams to coordinate activities.
• Maintain supplier pricing accuracy in the MRP system and communicate price discrepancies to Buyers.
