Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in a relevant industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Experience leading purchasing staff and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Forecast demand and set PO timing/quantities to maximize turns.
• Supervise purchasing staff and set procedures for efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams on pricing and supply.
• Prepare cost analyses and implement cost-reduction strategies.
• Monitor laws and attend trade shows; travel to branches as needed.
