The role requires 5+ years of purchasing experience (distribution preferred), ERP proficiency, and strong negotiating and communications skills. A bachelor's degree is preferred and a collaborative, results-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in a distribution-related environment with leadership experience.
• APICS CSCP, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, OSHA 10 Hour preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements purchasing strategies aligning with operations and financial goals.
• Researches and selects suppliers according to standards and objectives.
• Analyzes vendor and supply risks to minimize disruption.
• Procures raw materials, components, and finished goods for manufacturing and distribution.
• Negotiates pricing, contracts, and terms to meet cost and delivery targets.
• Maintains supplier relationships for reliable supply and performance.
• Acts as liaison between Operations, Sales, and vendors on needs.
• Collaborates with Operations to understand needs and maximize leverage.
