Qualifications

• US citizen and able to obtain DOD security clearance.
• 8–12 years of procurement experience in complex manufacturing or service operations.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience may substitute for formal degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-task coordination skills.
• Strong people leadership experience.
• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings for procurement.
• Ability to work under emergent and strict scheduling deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools and MR P/ERP systems.
• Must lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience in Ship Repair/Technical Service is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for global sourcing and supplier consolidation.
• Support growth by aligning procurement to cost reduction and margin expansion.
• Serve as liaison between purchasing and internal stakeholder departments.
• Lead and develop a purchasing team with varied experience.
• Monitor procurement processes and SOPs.
• Maintain supplier relationship management and drive partnerships for performance and cost.
• Monitor KPIs and advise corrective actions.
• Develop or maintain a supplier performance system.
• Implement supplier negotiation and procurement best practices.
• Support pricing efforts for new products/services.
• Review technical blueprints/drawings for procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR and internal standards.
