Curtiss-Wright in Pittsburgh (Cheswick) is seeking a Buyer to join our team. You will purchase materials, coordinate with manufacturing, planning and engineering to ensure timely inventory and cost-effective sourcing, and process requisitions, change orders, and supplier RFQs.

The role requires 2–5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle ERP) and Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate bids, select suppliers, and negotiate price and delivery terms.
• Follow up on awards until order completion.
• Negotiate damages, rejections, returns and engineering changes with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier site visits and rate production capability and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations.
