Chesapeake Search Partners, in partnership with a growing commercial services company, seeks a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing operations, and cost optimization across a multi-brand, multi-state organization.

This high-impact leadership role consolidates purchasing across business units, drives measurable savings, improves vendor performance, and supports post-acquisition procurement integration into a centralized model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of procurement or sourcing leadership experience.
• Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across major spend categories including materials, fleet, tools, equipment, and indirect spending.
• Negotiate pricing, rebates, payment terms, freight agreements, and service-level commitments with suppliers and distributors.
• Consolidate supplier relationships and establish preferred vendor and national account agreements.
• Drive cost savings initiatives while ensuring material availability for field operations and project schedules.
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and enforce procurement policies, purchasing controls, and approval processes across multiple locations.
• Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
• Optimize inventory levels across branches, warehouses, and field operations to reduce carrying costs and emergency purchases.
• Build and maintain spend analytics, KPI reporting, savings tracking, forecasting, and rebate management programs.
• Support acquisition due diligence and lead post-acquisition procurement integration efforts.
