Job summary

CTR Cryo, part of the TransTech Group, seeks a Purchasing/Procurement Manager in Rock Hill, SC to oversee sourcing, vendor relations, and cost-efficiency for cryogenic storage and transport solutions. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet stringent standards and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

The role requires strategic sourcing, strong vendor management, and the ability to manage budgets while ensuring quality and safety compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SCM, or Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting, with progression of responsibility.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligning with business objectives and supplier base.
• Qualify, audit, and manage critical vendors; monitor on-time delivery and quality metrics.
• Lead supplier negotiations to optimize pricing, terms, and contract conditions.
• Collaborate with production, inventory, and engineering to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock.
• Analyze ERP/MRP systems to ensure timely material delivery and compliance with specs.
