Job summary

CTR Cryo, part of the TransTech Group, seeks a Purchasing/Procurement Manager in Rock Hill, SC. You will oversee procurement of materials, equipment and services for cryogenic storage and transport solutions, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Reports to the President. You will lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, components, and services.
• Qualify, audit, and manage critical vendors; evaluate performance metrics.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure pricing and contract terms.
• Build strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Collaborate with production and inventory to forecast demand and maintain stock levels.
• Analyze ERP/MRP to ensure timely material delivery for production schedules.
• Ensure materials meet engineering specs, quality standards, and safety regs.
