Job summary

CTR Cryo in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee specialized materials and finished goods within a cryogenic manufacturing environment. You will implement real-time inventory tracking, manage safety-compliant storage, and coordinate with vendors to prevent bottlenecks.

The role requires 3–5 years of inventory management or warehouse supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong proficiency in ERP software, barcode tracking, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 3 to 5 years of inventory management or warehouse supervisory experience, ideally within a heavy manufacturing or industrial gas environment
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be dependable, initiative-taking, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Implement inventory tracking systems and ERP software to monitor raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished cryogenic units in real time.
• Ensure specialized components and materials are stored, handled, and documented according to industry safety, quality, and environmental management rules.
• Liaise with vendors to analyze costs, track back orders, negotiate terms, and prevent production bottlenecks or excessive surplus.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, manage physical inventory audits, and investigate stock discrepancies or variances.
• Oversee incoming inspections of specialized parts and outgoing shipments to technicians, production teams, and external clients.
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse and inventory staff.
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management, or similar supply chain credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/inventory management software, Microsoft Office, and barcode tracking systems
