Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and procurement strategies for complex construction and manufacturing projects in PA. • Proven success negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and procurement systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to drive cost savings and improve supplier terms.
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials arrive on time.
• Partner with project managers and engineering teams to forecast material demand.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify new sourcing opportunities based on market trends and supplier capabilities.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
• Analyze purchasing data and report on performance, savings, and key metrics.
