Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Purchasing Manager for Teledyne RFM to plan, organize, and coordinate purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. You will develop systems to meet schedule, quality and cost objectives and lead a procurement team to drive results.

Responsibilities include supplier recruitment, contract reviews, KPI attainment, and collaboration with business development and operations to optimize procurement processes and deliver value across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of related experience (or equivalent).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage time and organize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine material availability.
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Implement procurement reporting systems to meet company needs.
• Recruit and maintain suppliers offering high quality at better price.
• Approve purchase orders and changes; review contracts for conformance.
• Lead procurement team and ensure KPI achievement.
