Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to drive sourcing for large-scale construction and manufacturing projects. You will own the full purchasing lifecycle, partner with operations, engineering, and project teams, and implement procurement strategies that influence timelines, margins, and project success.

The role requires 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain within construction, strong negotiation and vendor-management skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience within construction or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to drive cost savings and improve supplier terms
• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials arrive on time
• Partner with project managers and engineering teams to forecast material demand
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement
• Identify new sourcing opportunities based on market trends and supplier capabilities
• Lead cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety
• Analyze purchasing data and report on performance, savings, and key metrics
