Job summary

Disa Technologies, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Agent to source materials, components, equipment, and services to support production and operations.

You will work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in supply chain or related field, 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• 2+ years purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
• Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components, equipment, and services to support production schedules and business operations.
• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages while minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, warehouse, and accounting teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs.
• Resolve purchasing discrepancies, invoice issues, shipping delays, and supplier concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within the ERP system.
• Assist in obtaining competitive quotes and evaluating suppliers for quality, pricing, and service.
• Support inventory counts, receiving activities, and material reconciliation as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
• Abide by all policies and procedures established by DISA.
• Attend required safety training courses.
• Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.
