Qualifications

• High School diploma or HS GED required.
• An associate’s degree in supply chain management preferred.
• 3–5 years inventory control experience and/or planning in manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on planning, scheduling, shipping, receiving, capacity planning, inventory control, and purchasing in an ERP environment required.
• Computer knowledge including a good understanding of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Focus daily on reporting and improving internal scheduling, inventory, and supply chain issues; including receipt, transfer and reman of product.
• Areas of responsibility include scheduling, forecasting, inventory control accuracy, and purchasing; optimize scheduling for material flow and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze products, specifications, ordering trends to optimize inventory levels at local manufacturing and distribution center.
• Communicate with Branch Management Team, Sales Representatives, Central Buyers and customers to ensure scheduled production meets needs.
• Maintain accuracy of the local branch center’s inventory system through AP reconciliation and open PO lists.
• Negotiate quality, pricing and delivery of raw materials with network of suppliers and Central Buyers.
