Job summary

GPAC has partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Inventory Manager to optimize procurement, supplier relationships, and stock control across operations.

The successful candidate will negotiate supplier pricing and terms, monitor vendor performance, and expedite critical materials, while leading cycle counts and audits to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shortages, excess inventory, and production disruptions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of raw materials and manufacturing processes; steel, fabrication, or machining experience preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP skills.
• Proven supplier negotiation and continuous improvement experience.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate supplier pricing and terms, monitor vendor performance, and expedite critical materials.
• Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and corrective actions.
• Reduce shortages, excess inventory, material costs, and production disruptions.
