Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of purchasing, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing suppliers, negotiating terms, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Experience with inventory planning, demand forecasting, safety stock, and reorder-point management.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of resins, recycled materials, components, packaging, and related production items.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, lead times, and supplier agreements to improve margins.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; explore alternate sourcing options.
• Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, and supply risks affecting costs.
• Improve inventory turns and reduce working capital tied to materials.
