Job summary

Dock & Door Tec seeks a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage daily purchasing, vendor relations, and material flow for service and project teams. You will verify orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate with Operations, Sales, Finance, and vendors to prevent delays.

You will work with ERP systems, track deliveries, and ensure timely updates to clients and internal partners, defending cost integrity and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of purchasing/inventory experience in a service or construction environment.
• Experience creating purchase orders, working with vendors, tracking deliveries, and maintaining inventory records.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft 365, especially Outlook and Excel; Acumatica experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for scope, parts, quantities, pricing, lead times, freight, and vendor data before releasing purchases.
• Create and issue purchase orders in the ERP system and maintain records.
• Verify vendor acknowledgments and update ship dates, backorders, and substitutions.
• Source parts and services from multiple vendors with cost, availability, quality, and service consideration.
• Communicate delivery dates and material changes to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory records and perform routine transactions; support cycles and returns.
