Job summary

Landry's, LLC. in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a experienced Purchasing Coordinator under the Director of Purchasing to support procurement activities for the property.

You will source vendors, process orders, monitor inventory, and assist vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing aligned with policy. The role requires strong Excel and MS Office skills, familiarity with purchasing systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience, preferably in hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Source products and services and assist with vendor selection and management.
• Obtain quotes, analyze pricing, and support competitive bidding processes.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders through the purchasing and inventory system.
• Monitor deliveries, follow up on backorders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Review purchasing documentation, invoices, and receiving records for accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining inventory levels and vendor performance standards.
• Prepare reports and maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Support departmental procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.
• Provide professional service to internal departments, vendors, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
