Job summary

Louisiana-Organ-Procurement-Agency seeks a Purchasing Supply Coordinator to oversee acquisition and inventory of medical, marketing and office supplies. You will use supply management systems, prepare purchase orders, and verify receipt of all supplies daily.

Coordinate with the COO and staff to maintain policies, restock, and ensure accurate quarterly inventories. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One to two years of related experience or closely related field.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee acquisition and inventory of medical, marketing and office supplies.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures pertaining to supply inventory.
• Prepare purchase orders for all agency purchases.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and verify receipt of supplies.
• Enter supplies in the tracking system and reconcile quarterly inventories.
• Coordinate with finance on PO’s and packing slips; ensure proper labeling and restocking.
