Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of purchasing, sourcing, or buying experience, preferably in hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Source products and services and assist with vendor selection and management.
  • Obtain quotes, analyze pricing, and support competitive bidding processes.
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders through the purchasing and inventory system.
  • Monitor deliveries, follow up on backorders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Review purchasing documentation, invoices, and receiving records for accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and vendor performance standards.
  • Prepare reports and maintain purchasing records and documentation.
  • Support departmental procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and records.
  • Provide professional service to internal departments, vendors, and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing, the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting procurement activities for the property, including sourcing vendors, processing purchase orders, monitoring inventory and deliveries, and assisting with vendor relationships.   • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
