Verto People Ltd is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in Columbia, SC to support plumbing supply procurement and inventory coordination across multiple showroom locations. The role involves generating and processing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and resolving order discrepancies while ensuring inventory levels meet showroom needs.

You will work with branch teams to maintain product availability and optimize costs.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory coordination.
• Experience with purchasing processes, purchase orders, and inventory management workflows.
• Ability to generate, review, and process purchase orders using procurement systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchasing and procurement activities for plumbing supplies across multiple showroom locations.
• Generate, review, and process purchase orders using procurement and inventory management systems.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendor representatives to maintain product availability and resolve purchasing issues.
• Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies, billing issues, backorders, and damaged deliveries.
• Work closely with showroom consultants and branch managers to maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate non-stock orders.
• Monitor supplier pricing, product costs, and market trends alongside showroom management.
• Coordinate inventory transfers, returns, and the movement of excess or inactive stock.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and support effective communication between internal departments and suppliers.
