Sea Fox Boat Works in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a meticulous Purchasing Coordinator to support our Warehouse Department. You will place and track purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, and help maintain optimal inventory levels to sustain production.

This role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Fishbowl, and QuickBooks. Familiarity with marine industry is a plus. Join a team-focused environment that rewards accuracy and initiative.

Formación

• 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Experience with Fishbowl and QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Marine industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and manage an accurate vendor database.
• Create, issue, and monitor purchase orders using internal systems.
• Ensure inventory levels are adequate to support manufacturing.
• Manage open purchase orders; ensure on-time delivery from vendors.
• Expedite materials and provide accurate ETA updates.
• Adjust purchasing volumes based on inventory trends.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with orders, invoices, shipments.
• Coordinate vendor repairs, replacements, or credits for non-conforming items.
• Organize and maintain purchasing records and reports.
• Prepare internal communications, reports, and forms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with supervisors on procurement matters.
• Support additional tasks as required.
