Wastequip is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement in a manufacturing environment. You will process purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, track deliveries, and assist inventory planning.

This role requires 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, ERP/MRP experience (Microsoft Dynamics D365, SAP, Oracle), and strong organizational and vendor-management skills. Work is in an office within a manufacturing facility with occasional time on the production floor; standard hours

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders in alignment with production schedules and inventory requirements.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor order status and follow up on delayed or back-ordered items.
