Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. You will support estimating, design, construction, and as-built stages by coordinating purchasing activities and vendor relations. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with strong growth opportunities.

You will verify requisitions, obtain quotes, issue POs, and manage data on our materials databases while partnering with sales and operations for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchase requisitions and clarify unclear items; recommend alternatives due to cost or lead time.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate costs with vendors to meet margin goals.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders when directed; track orders and delivery status.
• Maintain online databases of materials ordered, received and delivered.
