Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to support operations and service teams through the estimating, design, construction, and as-built phases of projects. You will join a dynamic team in a culture that fosters growth and collaboration.

Hybrid role: 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week, with responsibilities spanning requisitions, vendor negotiation, and data management to ensure timely material delivery and project success.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement across estimating, design, construction, and as-built stages.
• Verify purchase requisitions and reconcile items with BOMs.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate costs with vendors to meet margins.
• Prepare purchase orders and manage supplier communications.
• Maintain online databases of materials ordered, received, and delivered.
• Track orders and resolve shipping issues with suppliers.
