Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to support estimating, design, construction, and as-built phases of projects. You will work with sales and operations to provide purchasing assistance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accuracy, and collaboration across teams. A hybrid work arrangement is indicated, with four days onsite and one day remote, and a pathway for developing procurement expertise within a globally

Responsibilities

• Verifies purchase requisitions and compares items to BOMs; clarifies items and suggests alternatives.
• Uses inventory data and coordinates with Logistics for stock availability.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders as needed, and maintains online records of materials.
• Obtains quotes, negotiates costs to meet margin goals, and tracks shipments.
