Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a highly organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain team. You will manage day-to-day procurement, create and process purchase orders in the ERP, and ensure materials and services are delivered on time to production and engineering.

The role partners with Buyers, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Finance to resolve issues and improve supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, revise, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Manage supplier communications and monitor lead times and delivery risks.
• Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier master data, pricing, and purchasing records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory, Quality, Receiving, and Finance.
• Support sourcing activities with RFQs, supplier research, and quote analysis.
