Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle day-to-day procurement, ensuring materials and services are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and available to support production, engineering, and commitments.

The role requires 1–3 years in purchasing or procurement, strong organization, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or administrative experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, revise, and maintain purchase orders in ERP with accuracy and timely processing.
• Manage supplier communications including acknowledgements, pricing, lead times, and delivery risks.
• Track supplier performance on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost, supporting improvements.
• Maintain supplier master data, pricing, lead times, and records; support onboarding and vendor compliance.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory, Quality, Receiving, and Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with RFQs, supplier research, quote analysis, and supplier selection recommendations.
