Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain team. This role handles day-to-day procurement, creates and maintains POs, tracks deliveries, and liaises with suppliers to ensure on-time materials for production, engineering, and commitments.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in purchasing or procurement, strong organization, and excellent communication. Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel is preferred in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, revise, and maintain purchase orders in ERP.
• Manage supplier communications and monitor shipment status.
• Track supplier performance and support improvement initiatives.
• Maintain supplier master data and onboarding records.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, planning, inventory, and finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Support sourcing activities with RFQs, supplier research, and quote analysis.
