Sapphire Recruitment, LLC is partnering with an established manufacturing company to hire an experienced Materials Planner. This hands-on role aligns production schedules, procurement, and inventory with customer demand to keep operations moving.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain schedules, coordinate with suppliers, monitor inventory, and supervise the Purchasing & Planning Coordinator in a fast-paced environment. 5+ years of experience and ERP/MRP proficiency are required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in materials planning or similar manufacturing roles.
• Strong ERP/MRP systems knowledge.
• Experience developing and managing production schedules.
• Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, supplier management.
• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities across departments.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor production and adjust schedules as priorities or materials change.
• Use ERP/MRP data to identify material requirements and supply risks.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with suppliers on pricing and lead times.
• Maintain inventory and planning parameters like lead times and reorder points.
• Work with production and warehouse to resolve material and scheduling issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and address delivery or quality concerns.
• Analyze inventory, planning, and purchasing data for efficiency and cost savings.
• Supervise and direct day-to-day Purchasing & Planning Coordinator.
• Communicate changes in priorities and risks across departments.
