Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Purchaser to lead our ecommerce and dropship buying program. This role requires market-driven decision making, strong supplier networks, and ownership of purchases from start to finish.

You will monitor market trends, optimize pricing, negotiate terms, and balance inventory with sales opportunities across channels. A trader mindset and experience in fast-changing consumer electronics markets are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong market instincts and ability to identify and negotiate deals.
• Able to act quickly, make independent decisions, and own results.
• Strong supplier relationships and knowledge of margins, inventory turns, cash flow, risk.
• Organized, analytical, and able to communicate purchasing decisions clearly.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to scale purchasing operations.
• Nice to have: experience in product trading, collector or closeout stock, or e-commerce sourcing and resale models.

Responsibilities

• Stay on top of market pricing, product trends, promotions, and supply and demand.
• Decide when to buy, wait, or pass on a deal, and determine stock quantities.
• Build and maintain a network of direct distributors, wholesalers, traders, and other suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to improve margins while managing risk and capital.
• Take ownership of the financial outcome of each purchase and inventory performance.
• Identify new brands, products, and trends and test opportunities in controlled quantities.
