The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), State Procurement Office (SPO), is seeking a highly experienced Chief Procurement Officer to oversee all procurement activities for the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA). The CPO reports to the State Procurement Administrator and collaborates with stakeholders to maximize value and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities for DEMA with integrity and compliance.
• Manage procurement policies and procedures for the department.
• Issue formal decisions in protests and contract claims.
• Represent the department at formal procurement hearings as needed.
• Train agency leadership on procurement matters.
• Monitor, report and improve KPIs.
