The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) State Procurement Office (SPO) is seeking enthusiastic interns for a hands-on procurement internship with exposure to Invitations to Bids, RFPs, and RFIs. You will analyze market data, support contract administration, and report findings to SPO management.

Qualifications

• In-progress bachelor's degree with emphasis in public or business administration, supply chain management or related field.
• Knowledge of government procurement and purchasing techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs research and analysis reviews of current statewide contracts, including pricing and terms comparisons.
• Answer emails and phone calls related to procurement inquiries.
• Assist procurement officers with contract administration duties; amendments, vendor communications, and posting documents.
• Market Basket analysis comparing commodity pricing structures with retail costs and other entities.
