Job summary

Trinity Health in Fresno, CA is seeking a Manager Provider Relations & Development to drive physician engagement, recruitment, and contracting across primary, specialty, and ancillary providers. You will work with the IPA, SAMF, and local physician networks to onboard and develop strategic participants in the network.

The role focuses on developing mutually agreed Health Plan to Provider strategies, achieving provider satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Four (4) years of experience managing care contracting and provider development is required.
• Extensive understanding of physician practice operations and associated performance metrics is required.
• Experience working with physicians and physician groups is required.
• Ability to successfully negotiate, build consensus, and bring complicated deals to closure is required.
• Ability to interpret and convert contract language and identify areas impacting provider operation and implementation is required.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Physician engagement, recruitment, and contracting of all Providers.
• Collaborate with Independent Physician Association (IPA), Saint Agnes Medical Foundation (SAMF), and other community-based physician networks.
• Onboard and develop providers (primary care, specialty care, and ancillary) in their participation and growth as strategic participants in the network.
• Set goals for contracting target increases and service level improvements; manage measurement of provider engagement and commitment to IPA and CVHP.
