Job summary

UCSF is seeking a Prospect Development Analyst to join the UDAR team. You will deliver decision intelligence, evaluate donor wealth, and co-develop moves management strategies that speed major gift pipelines.

You will translate wealth data into actionable briefings and serve as a strategic co-pilot for frontline fundraisers, driving donor velocity across UCSF’s scientific and educational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of prospect research techniques, wealth intelligence methodologies, and tools to evaluate donor capacity and inclination.
• Strong technical skills to utilize fundraising CRMs and databases to maintain data integrity and generate complex reports.
• Applied understanding of moves management frameworks and donor lifecycle to analyze portfolio metrics and resolve pipeline bottlenecks.
• Professional maturity to partner with frontline fundraisers and guide prospect trajectories.
• Strong verbal and written communication to produce concise prospect profiles and portfolio summaries.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, regulatory policies, and donor data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide decision intelligence to frontline fundraisers to accelerate major gift pipelines.
• Evaluate donor wealth indicators and philanthropic inclination to refine donor targeting.
• Co-develop moves management strategies and portfolio health insights for UCSF’s UDAR.
• Translate complex wealth structures into clear executive summaries for leadership.
