AO is seeking a Senior Designer in Orange, CA, to lead architecture projects from concept to construction documents. The role requires coordinating with engineers and stakeholders, ensuring code compliance, and mentoring junior designers to uphold design excellence and budget goals.

The candidate will manage multiple projects, drive design presentations, and translate client needs into innovative solutions while maintaining AO standards and processes.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of architectural design experience.
• Experience across all phases of architecture and engineering projects.
• Strong project planning and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design across all phases of development.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, agencies, and other design disciplines.
• Monitor documentation quality and drawing production.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget.
• Mentor and develop junior designers.
