Job summary

Kraus-Anderson Construction seeks a Marketing Manager – Proposals to lead the centralized proposal function, guiding a team of Proposal Coordinators and partnering with Business Development and Construction leaders. The role focuses on creating a consistent, efficient, and strategic pursuit experience from early planning through submission and interview prep.

You will shape processes, define responsibilities, and drive data-informed decisions while maintaining high standards and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related area.
• 6–8 years of related experience in proposals, marketing, business development, pursuit management, or similar field.
• Experience leading proposal or pursuit teams and coordinating complex, deadline-driven work.
• Strong understanding of proposal development, pursuit strategy, capture planning, interview preparation, and business development process.
• Ability to design and improve processes and build accountability.
• Proficiency with proposal, CRM, project management, content management, and MS 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the centralized Proposal team with clear expectations for quality and collaboration.
• Prioritize pursuits, allocate resources, and manage team capacity.
• Define roles, workflows, timelines, and quality standards with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee proposals from opportunity intake through submission and interview preparation.
• Improve templates, content, processes, and best practices for efficiency.
• Assess technology and drive system integration improvements with Marketing and IT.
