Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the proposal team across small to large bids valued at high visibility programs. You will drive end-to-end capture and proposal activities, align with executive leadership, and ensure aggressive timelines are met while maintaining rigorous compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements.

You will mentor a lean team of technical writers and pricing analysts, implement Shipley methodologies, and collaborate with capture

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proposal management experience in defense industry.
• Led 3–5 proposals valued at $100M+ from gate to submission.
• Experience with DoW customers (Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Army, MDA, DARPA).
• Lean/agile environment experience.
• Trained in Shipley proposal development methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development for DoD and similar contracts.
• Serve as Proposal Manager for multi-volume proposals with tight timelines.
• Develop schedules, compliance matrices, and quality plans.
• Mentor junior staff and build scalable proposal processes.
• Coordinate with executives and cross-functional teams to craft win themes.
