Job summary

Peraton in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal development, coordinating writers and consultants to produce compliant, compelling documents. You will partner with Capture, Business Development, and Solution Architects to articulate technical and management solutions for bids, whitepapers, and oral presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of proposal management experience.
• Proven track record winning proposals valued at $200M+.
• US Citizenship required.
• Strong MS Office and SharePoint skills.
• APMP Certification is a plus (desired).

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying resources to develop the proposal.
• Analyze solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI) and determine final document structure.
• Prepare detailed proposal plans, schedules, and compliance matrices.
• Coordinate and lead major proposal meetings (Kick-off, Color Team, Strategy).
• Develop content, strengths, and discriminators for proposals.
• Manage proposal schedules and ensure timely deliverables.
• Provide guidance to writers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and section L&M requirements.
• Communicate status with senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor amendments and changes to solicitations.
