Job summary

Kearney & Company seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the full lifecycle of proposals in response to RFPs. You will guide proposal teams, coordinate meetings, and develop essential documents to win bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing proposal development and processes, preferably for US Federal solicitations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite; SharePoint and Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct management of the proposal team from bid approval through award.
• Develop all necessary proposal documentation to win the assigned bid.
• Facilitate proposal strategy sessions with capture and SMEs; extract win themes and differentiators.
• Ensure the response conveys key messages, value propositions, and differentiators.
• Collaborate with BD and senior leadership to incorporate feedback and vision.
• Manage proposal-specific teams (Coordinators, Writers, Editors, Graphics, SMEs).
• Lead color reviews and recovery strategies; ensure QA and compliance.
• Coordinate meetings and manage proposal content in Salesforce, SpringCM, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
• Work with subcontractors and primes as needed; maintain boilerplate and lessons learned.
• Produce high-quality templates and process documentation; edit and rewrite content as needed.
• Oversee development of proposal graphics; support production, packaging, and delivery of proposals.
• Mentor team members and maintain ability to obtain government security clearance.
