Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly organized Proposal Manager in Maryland to lead end-to-end proposal development, coordinating with SMEs, writers, and contributors to craft compelling, compliant submissions. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and resource planning to drive bid success.

You will collaborate across BD and Operations, ensuring high-quality content and timely delivery, with opportunities to influence strategic outcomes and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
• Typically 9+ years of proven experience in proposal management or business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from RFP analysis to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather content.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Identify and allocate resources to meet proposal requirements.
• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information.
• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure high quality and competitive proposals.
• Engage with BD and Operations to clarify requirements and address queries.
• Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content and templates.
