Job summary

Evapco is seeking a Proposal Engineer I to support the sales team in developing proposals, conducting cost estimates, and preparing competitive bids for cooling tower projects. You will collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate specifications, pricing, and contract reviews, driving successful proposals from concept to submission.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science or strong math/science coursework.
0–5 years of experience in Proposal Management, Project Management, or Application Sales.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare proposals and manage bid activities across assigned opportunities.
Provide bid support and develop proposal strategies with sales and BD teams.
Maintain and update the Quote Database and Tower Reference Library; assist forecasting and budgeting.
Assist with post-award activities, including transition to project management and scope alignment.
Provide technical design support, including thermal selections and performance assessments using relevant software.
