Job summary

Energy Solutions is seeking a Proposal Manager I to join our Growth Management & Strategy team. You will help guide proposals from opportunity identification through final submission, partnering with subject matter experts, writers, and project teams to gather information, coordinate schedules, and ensure proposals are compliant and on time.

You bring strong organizational skills, enjoy juggling multiple priorities, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in proposal support, project coordination, or related field.
• Experience supporting proposals, solicitations, or other deadline-driven deliverables.
• Experience gathering information from multiple contributors and organizing it clearly.
• Experience tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and 365 tools.
• Foundational project coordination skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assists with proposal development from pre-RFP planning to submission.
• Reviews solicitation documents to identify requirements and formats.
• Updates proposal systems, trackers, and opportunity records.
• Drafts assigned proposal sections, resumes, and project descriptions.
• Collects information from SMEs and partners for proposals.
• Prepares materials for compliance, quality, and editorial review.
• Executes final-production activities, formatting and file assembly.
• Escalates compliance concerns and schedule risks when identified.
• Coordinates information requests and records status updates.
• Maintains proposal resources and internal process documentation.
