Job summary

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County is seeking a Project Manager - Strategy and Technology to oversee the Community Powered Infrastructure Program (CPI) within the Department of Public Works. The role requires coordinating across divisions, safety, vendors, and community partners to move urban projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, political science or other related area of study.
Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to use spreadsheets, word processors, and other software solutions.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day demands of the CPI program.
Coordinate among DPW divisions, public safety, contracted vendors, and community partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, neighborhood organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, and social/fraternal organizations.
Advance art in the right-of-way and tactical urbanism projects from awareness to inception, installation and completion.
