Job summary

The City of Indianapolis & Marion County is seeking a Project Manager - Strategy and Technology for the Department of Public Works. You will oversee the Community Powered Infrastructure program, coordinating with DPW divisions, public safety, contractors and community partners to advance art in the public right-of-way and tactical urbanism projects from awareness to completion.

You will build and maintain relationships with businesses, neighborhood groups, educational institutions and nonprofits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with contract management and public outreach.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel off-site to community meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day demands of CPI program.
• Coordinate among DPW divisions, public safety, vendors, and community partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, neighborhood groups, and educational institutions.
• Support project inception, installation, and completion of public works projects.
